I'm sorry, but too busy for protracted searches this morning. If the OP (Tony?) still hasn't found something then please to jog my memory in a few days to a week because I'm *sure* I remember a preprocessor package that sits ahead of the sound driver and allows graphic equalisation on any waveforms (ie not midi) sent out via DMA. ICBW, but I've got this niggling feeling... It was a beautiful package too and I'm sure it wasn't player specific, I think it applied to anything that went out via the soundcard. Unfortunately it may have had a limited list of hardware to which it would apply but it'd do no harm for me to dig about. Imaginative googling may well find it for you Anthony (? OP?) have a good try using terms like 'driver' 'preprocessor' or 'preprocessed' and maybe 'DMA'. Sorry to be so useless but I actually have some work for a change and I ought to try for at least one happy customer by doing some preparation.. Dave J.
