Our maintenance people told me once (when the fuser broke) that the engine was used in a shit load of different printers not just HP and will be around for a long time yet so spares aren't really a problem either (just now). I don't know about the 5L and 6L but the toner on the 4L seems to last forever unlike the newer Brother lasers we have in the office which use toners like it's going out of fashion. Anth
