In my WINNT directory, I have a number of folders, with names in the
form:
$NtUninstallQ32nnnn$
Collectively, they're quite sizeable.
I presume they relate to Windows 2000/ Internet Explorer patches. Are
they? Can I delete them, without ill effect?

They're restore directories if you need to uninstall a Service Pack.
I've had no problems with Service Packs in W2K.
