CD wallets/cases/whatever

Having acquired some CD-Rs on a spindle, I now want some paper or
plastic wallets (not Jewel cases) to keep/ post them in. You'd think
that they would be easy to find, but Dixons, PCWorld, WH Smith and
several on-line retailers have all come up blank; one reason perhaps
being that they might go under more than one name (wallets, covers,
etc.)

Any ideas?

I bought a spindle of CD-Rs and 100 cardboard CD Sleeves (and a bunch of
other assorted useful CD-R related stuff) from http://www.121cdr.co.uk/.

Nice prices too, IME.

I've been looking for ages without success. However I do still have
several tens from old 80's and 90's cover disks that I kept (after
slinging the CD's).

I get mine from Office World - cheapest blanks CDs I know of 30 odd quid a
hundred, and the sleeves are sort of paper with plastic liner and circular
transparent bit - bar code 4902030165116- They aren't parked very
ovbviously, I had to ask the lady. I find them very satisfactory, but they
haven't got the fold-over envelopey flap

I just ordered some from SVP Communications at www.121cdr.co.uk. Each
holds 24 cds or you can get larger ones. The 2 size are 2.54ukp. Look
under CD Storage.

Yes, I use them to distribute notebashing aids for a choir, no reports of
any not playing and no failures (apart from software crashes till I got it
grrrripppped)

Maplin Electronics do paper, plastic and many more types of cases. Page
390 of current catalogue.

Eg. 100 plastic wallets, part number ZN60Q, 7.99 incl VAT.

Hi Andy,

I bought a couple of batches of 100 PVC wallets from a company called HCP
based in Harrow. Telephone is 0800 0 345 543. They cost about 8.50 per
hundred inc VAT, but might have gone up since then. You can order over the
phone with a Credit Card. They also do a stackable drawer unit which I keep
all my CDs (music and s/w) in as I ditch the jewel cases. They take up too
much room with the number I have.

cheers, Mike
