There's a Sort By: Subject/Thread selector at the top of the Group list.

I usually use Eudora Lite to send attachments. MacSOUP will read text
only attachments like ordinary E-mail. Getting non-text attachments is a
pain, unless I accept all my mail for that session on Eudora.
