I deal with BT and ISDN as part of my job (Midshire Veterinary Systems)
and believe me, 'support' is not a word I would use in the same sentence
as BT. They once (and this is perfectly true) CHANGED the ISDN number at
one of our sites and DIDN'T TELL US until we enquired as to why it
wasn't working all of a sudden.

You should have heard the language...:-)

In my experience, ISDN adaptors are just modems, plain and simple. They
have a somewhat extended Hayes set and they run a bit quicker, but
they're modems. If it doesn't work, take it back.
