You can get ISDN Terminal Adaptors which connect to the serial port as a
modem would. I believe they don't allow for as much throughput as an
ISDN card, but they are considerably cheaper. As they appear like a
modem to the Mac, I _think_ the only software you would need would be a
modem script, however I could be wrong (I have never used one myself).

Some Mac dealers may supply such things, otherwise try a specialist ISDN
outfit e.g. <http://www.cambridge-isdn.com/>, <http://www.seg.co.uk/>,
<http://www.isdn.aa.nu/> (all URLs taken from the latest Demon
Dispatches magazine).
