In article <6807@purr.demon.co.uk> bogus@purr.demon.co.uk "bogus address" writes:

With a simplistic approach, I took would tend to want to bounce mail
arriving from .tw, save for the fact that my motherboard's manufacturer
is based there, and that they HAVE sent me useful information (usually in
response to a query from me, but on one occasion many months later). So
no, I would not automatically bounce *.tw. OTOH, I would and have bounce
anything from *.seed.com.tw.

Your problem is readily soluble, by YOU. At least three years ago {R} was
running his own home-made smtpd, written in Rexx and running under OS/2,
where it knew of a whitelist, and of a blacklist, and anything else
resulted in a pop-up for a decision. That decision could be assisted by
fetching the article's headers from the POP3 server *while* the
connection was still open to the smtpd from Demon's punt (acting as an
SMTP client).

I'm sure that if you're technically incompetent of writing such an smtpd
yourself, it would be possible to find someone prepared to write it for
you.
