Blame Demon, I have a Mac [Pace 56k voice modem/FreePPP 2.6.2] and been a
Demon Internet customer for years and I know that my system is 100% set-up
ok for Demon Internet, lately Demon's service has been very poor including
dropped initial connections, dropped connections and death of connections.
Demon go through this bad stage every so often - too often! It's not good
enough as this is a paid service and the likes of Freeserve is a free
service, I'm seriously considering going elsewhere and that's not a threat,
just a fact!

BTW Demon *rarely* keep us informed of the true state of play via the
'Operational Status' web page!!!
