Of course, I had good backups <smug> and could restore from them, but the backups were a few hours out of date. This hopelessly confused Mulberry and it refused to play nicely with the restored mailboxes. Which, I suppose, is fair enough. So I hunted down all Mulberry's files, deleted them, reinstalled - and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the damned thing to behave properly. It was certainly connecting to the server and retrieving messages, just not retrieving the right ones and storing them in the right place. Mulberry's config was a bit opaque first time round, and poorly documented too, and this time I just didn't have the patience to hunt through all the menus like a drooling GUI-monkey. So I deleted it again and Cyrus won't be getting any upgrade money from me in the future. Thunderbird does disconnected IMAP, which is what I wanted Mulberry for in the first place, and while its implementation isn't as good as Cyrus's, it does the job and more importantly, it Just Worked. -- David Cantrell | http://www.cantrell.org.uk/david
