"This kind of hostility...reflects the level of hatred and despair toward the U.S. The identity of those responsible will not be known quickly because the enemies of the U.S. for a long list." --From a Beirut newspaper "The horror of that disaster does not justify in any way whatsoever the fact that Zionist-controlled media have laready started to point fingers. .. This does not mean that Aerabs and Muslims are above suspicion. There might have been among them those who would have desired to be the perpetrators of these attacks, not out of thirst for blood and killing innocent people, but because they want to remind the American people of theirown suffering at the hands of the ZIonist politicians." --From a Jordanian newspaper The New York Stock Exchange. the American Stock Exchange and the New York Federal Reserve Bank (where the open market operations that control our money supply and interests rates are exclusively conducted) all are in short walking distance of were the retribution act that has destroyed the headquarters of Rockefeller finance capitalism and globalization took place (although the media, amazingly, would have you believe it was "New York" they were after -- it helps suppress their own collective guilty consciences and satisfy the stupid rest of us. Is "retribution" too strong a word? Or is it too weak? UNICEF reports that 5,000 children die every month in Iraq due to the U.S.-led sanctions. They are dying from diarrhea and dysentery due to lack of clean drinking water, medicine and food. The sanctions do not allow Iraq to rebuild its water systems that were destroyed during the bombing ten years ago. Over 1.5 million Iraqi's have died in the last ten years due to the sanctions and the continued bombings, which are still happening every week in Iraq." In the Manchester Guardian on September 13 Rana Kabbani reminded us that the first thing to remember about terrorist groups is that they are easily and often penetrated by their enemies, in order to carry out long-term strategies as well as sudden death and destruction. In other words the 100 people who acted on September 11 may have thought they were operating on instructions from Bin Laden when in fact they were not. We will never know for sure. "No black box will ever tell us who the real perpetrators of this terrible vengeance are, as every terrorist has his minder, and every minder his minder, often with conflicting, if not warring, agendas. "But culpable culprits aside, there is no doubt that the United States has become the focus of a great deal of visceral, human hatred, mainly because of its unchecked arrogance." "The technical might of the American military has reduced wars against real human beings - in which civilian populations were bombarded, besieged and starved - into video games that Americans watched more casually than their afternoon soap-operas. Do Americans know what their government does in their name? Or are they all comatose on the drip-drip of consumerism and political disinformation - if not outright propaganda - that constitutes the bulk of what they are fed about the world?" The staunchest ally of the American Establishment's design for total globalization under finance capitalism is the policies largest beneficiary, the triad Princelings of Beijing -- a nation that has a lot to fear from "terrorism" in the form of resistance to their own tyranny. An editorial in China Daily states: "China, like other peace-loving countries, has always made clear its strong opposition to and condemnation of all forms of terrorism ...This makes it more urgent that the international community move to wage all-out war on terrorism by, in the final analysis, establishing a new world order that can ensure lasting peace." But "peace" to China has always meant "universal submission," whether to Chinese emperors, to Mao and exported "wars of national liberation", or to corrupt anarcho-capitalist triad druglord princelings -- so that the automatic weapons that the People's Liberation Army was caught smuggling to American street gangs and narcotics traffickers was a part of this greater peace process.) From John Pilger, writing in The London Times on 13 September, and viewing the September 11 mass murder as a retributive strike against the injustices of a fanatical Zionism and a ruthlessly self-aggrandizing globalization. (No American is in a psychological state to take this information in right now, however the desperate need of the moment demands that we do.) Here is some of what Pilger says: If the attacks on America have their source in the Islamic world, who can really be surprised? Two days earlier, eight people were killed in southern Iraq when British and American planes bombed civilian areas. To my knowledge, not a word appeared in the mainstream media in Britain. An estimated 200,000 Iraqis, according to the Health Education Trust in London, died during and in the immediate aftermath of the slaughter known as the Gulf War. This was never news that touched public consciousness in the west. At least a million civilians, half of them children, have since died in Iraq as a result of a medieval embargo imposed by the United States and Britain. In Pakistan and Afghanistan, the Mujadeen, which gave birth to the fanatical Taliban, was largely the creation of the CIA. The terrorist training camps where Osama bin Laden, now 'America's most wanted man', allegedly planned his attacks, were built with American money and backing. In Palestine, the enduring illegal occupation by Israel would have collapsed long ago were it not for US backing. Far from being the terrorists of the world, the Islamic peoples have been its victims - principally the victims of US fundamentalism, whose power, in all its forms, military, strategic and economic, is the greatest source of terrorism on earth. ... That Tony Blair, whose government sells lethal weapons to Israel and has sprayed Iraq and Yugoslavia with cluster bombs and depleted uranium and was the greatest arms supplier to the genocidists in Indonesia, can be taken seriously when he now speaks about the 'shame' of the '"new evil of mass terrorism' says much about the censorship of our collective sense of how the world is managed. One of Blair's favourite words - 'fatuous' - comes to mind. Alas, it is no comfort to the families of thousands of ordinary Americans who have died so terribly that the perpetrators of their suffering may be the product of Western policies. Did the American establishment believe that it could bankroll and manipulate events in the Middle East without cost to itself, or rather its own innocent people? ... An elite group of less than a billion people now take more than 80 per cent of the world's wealth. In defence of this power and privilege, known by the euphemisms 'free market' and 'free trade', the injustices are legion: from the illegal blockade of Cuba, to the murderous arms trade, dominated by the US, to its trashing of basic environmental decencies, to the assault on fragile economies by institutions such as the World Trade Organisation that are little more than agents of the US Treasury and the European central banks, and the demands of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in forcing the poorest nations to repay unrepayable debts; to a new US 'Vietnam ' in Colombia and the sabotage of peace talks between North and South Korea (in order to shore up North Korea's 'rogue nation' status). ... In Indonesia, in 1965/6, a million people were killed with the complicity of the US and British governments: the Americans supplying General Suharto with assassination lists, then ticking off names as people were killed. "Getting British companies and the World Bank back in there was part of the deal", says Roland Challis, who was the BBC's south east Asia correspondent. ... What has this to do with this week's atrocities in America? If you travel among the impoverished majority of humanity, you understand that it has everything to do with it. People are neither still, nor stupid. They see their independence compromised, their resources and land and the lives of their children taken away, and their accusing fingers increasingly point north: to the great enclaves of plunder and privilege. Inevitably, terror breeds terror and more fanaticism. But how patient the oppressed have been. It is only a few years ago that the Islamic fundamentalist groups, willing to blow themselves up in Israel and New York, were formed, and only after Israel and the US had rejected outright the hope of a Palestinian state, and justice for a people scarred by imperialism. Their distant voices of rage are now heard; the daily horrors in faraway brutalised places have at last come home. ------------------- Finally: A senior Diplomat in Madrid who insists on remaining anonymous has told intelligence sources that during his recent visit to Europe, President George W. Bush told Prime Minister Asnar that the United States government was in possession of information that a massive terrorist attack, comparable to a declaration war, would be launched against targets in the United States. He asked Spain and several other NATO allies if they would support the United States in a war against terrorism and host countries if that were to happen. The diplomat states that Spain and a number of other EU nations reluctantly agreed to take part in any military action if such an attack occurred, and it could be proven beyond a shadow of doubt that it had been planned and originated outside the U.S. Source. http://www.rumormillnews.net/cgi-bin/config.pl?read=11554">SENIOR -------- Also see: http://www.rense.com/general13/whoff.htm ------------------ Dick Eastman Yakima, Washington Every man is responsible to every other man.
