Short answer - no.
The contents of the "blue bar" in Internet Explorer are controlled by a
combination of the contents of the <title> tags and a text string
contained in the software (in IE's case the registry entry others have
mentioned).
In most cases it'll simply say "Microsoft Internet Explorer", so put
your company's name in the title tags and then leave be.
It's worth bearing in mind that when someone adds a site to their
"favourites" list then the contents of the title tag are what IE uses as
a default name for the site - it's helpful to users if this is sensible
and meaningful, so "John's Bolt Company" rather than "The cheapest bolts
on the Internet are here, MX16 bolts only #2 per dozen, MX3 bolts 2 quid
each., cannot be beaten on price", etc, etc.

Well, that's what they claim to be. Many browsers (but not, IIRC IE)
allow the user to set the ID string to anything they like - IIRC Google
has an entry for these somewhere, including one of this group's regular
contributor's "None of your damn business" or similar.. :-)
The best way to create a tidy look is to ensure everything on the page
is there for a good reason, keep the navigation simple and logical, and
ensure it works well in a variety of browsers.
