I've taken a computer home from work to try and fix it. The Winsock does not work. I've put on Win98 and WinSE to see if that restores it, and it still doesn't work. I can open the DUN Folder now since I replaced the wsock32.dll file from Windrivers.com site. But I still can't connect to the internet through IE or collect mail from that machine. I tried loading Winsock 2 from a disk I downloaded, but it wouldn't allow it. Is there a Windows 98 Winsock Fix anywhere. Errors Messages I get (in turnpike) Demon Can't open Winsock Socket I use to get Wsock32 WSO0001 Error Locking Data/Code Segment (but this message disappeared after replacing the Wsock32.dll File). Other ISP Claranet it connects (like with Demon) but doesn't do nothing, can't connect to IE or get mail nothing. How can I restore Winsock? Thanks Shirl@clara.net
