I am (using IrfanView <http://www.irfanview.com>; I have other tools
available, including PSP) trying to save some images as transparent
GIFs, for use on a web site - the originals are a mix of GIFs and other
formats.

I'm having mixed success, and don't really understand the principles
behind what I'm doing.

Is there a A FAQ or tutorial which will help me?
