Have you tried health food stores, chemists and the like? Googling for extran, clicking on the "pages from the UK" option, throws up sites that sell it. Jon -- SPAM BLOCK IN USE! Jon Green's reply isn't showing up on my newsfeed, but if you mean the 2nd link, it's a review site... I looked at all the links again, though, and found a link on the 2nd page that sells it: http://www.xpedia.co.uk/acatalog/Xpedia_Online_MAXIM__60.html First time I looked at that page, I thought it was Maxim, and didn't see the Maxim == Extran bit. There were loads of other sites I found through google which used to sell Extran, but no longer do.... > "throws up" may not be the best phrase to use in this context ... 8-) :) Ben

Hi, I'm actually going to Holland on Wednesday. If they sell it in shopping centre I go to over there (in den Haag), I could send you a couple of sachets. My e-mail is david.hallsworth AT wadham.oxford DOT ac.uk (does breaking it up like that ACTUALLY work?) David

Just glug it and hope for the best. ;-) You could play ultra-safe and stick to water, gels and salt caps but personally I'd chance it. It looks a lot like Lucozade sport. This list of ingredients for the fast hydration drink is: water, sacharose, fructose, maltodextrine, dextrose, voedingszuur (citroenzuur), aroma, natrium, conserveermiddelen (E242, E202), kalium, antioxidant (L-ascorbinezuur), kleurstoffen (E161b, E141) For the extra power drink: water, sacharose, maltodextrine, druivensuiker, lactose, voedingszuur (citroenzuur), aroma, conserveermiddelen (E242, E202), kalium, antioxidant (L-ascorbinezuur), natrium, kleurstoffen (-caroteen, karmijnzuur) I would guess that it's the hydration drink that they'll be serving. Best of luck in the marathon. When is it? Tim
