Where I live there is a shortage of parking space, because :... :supplies, and local people need tradesmen and services. I am the first :to complain about unnecessary obstruction and the "immunity" some :people claim for their hazard lights, but at the same time it is :sometimes necessary to be a "hazard". Only very occasionally is a parked car with hazard lights on a hazard (and if it is, it shouldn't be there). The vast majority I see appear to be people who think hazard warning lights mean 'Don't book me for parking, I won't be more than a few seconds'. (Then of course they disappear for ten minutes...) G
