What have you found are the worst kind of clothing stains you get (or
have seen any friends or relatives obtain) while you're driving in
your car.

Koka Cola,dose not stain,just makes a mess.

Friend had a can open when I hit the bank at 90Kph accelerating hard out
of a drift,
The back wheel grabbed the side of the bank like you see the F1 cars do
when they rub wheels each other.
Up she went like lightning about 4 foot in the air(nearly rolled it in
an instant) and then smack down hard in the middle of the road, ripping
the diff and springs clean from under the car.
Koka cola went fucking everywhere, all over the roof all over me and him.
Got soaked in the stuff.
This was on the Sidling tassie.

No passers bye would drag me off the middle of the road,I have to wait
for a tow truck which took two hours to turn up.

optional selective rapid fire). Musta forgot to isolate the
propellant tank when it happened.

Truthfully?

We were taking the kids to Draton Manor theme park over 20 years ago. It
was a hot Bank Holiday - and half an hour into the journey my wife produced
some chocolate.

Arriving at Drayton Manor it suddenly became horrifyingly apparent that some
of my chocolate had dropped down on my seat, and had melted onto the arse of
my light cream chinos...........

Say no more!

I couldn't see the offending stain - but was informed that it gave a *very*
good imitation of a severe bout of diarrhoea. I will NEVER forget rushing
to the park toilets and being forced to attempt to remove the stain by using
clean water from the bloody toilet pan!

I've never eaten chocolate in a car since.

I rooned my favourite t-shirt by spilling a drop of that Quik chocolate milk
on it. Just a brown drop, but it's never come out. What the hell do they put
in that stuff? The bottles have an annoying curled-in rim, which makes it
hard not to spill bits of it.

(t-shirt I got from Snowbasin in the 90s, and it said "Will Ski 4 Food").

I had a similar experience with a bottle of lemonade. I was driving to an
interview, in my best suit, and I stopped on the way to have a quick swig of
lemonade. Before anyone moans, I'd stopped with the handbrake on and the
engine off - I wasn't "drinking and driving" in the literal sense of the
phrase! It was a brand new bottle and in the heat of the moment I forgot to
unscrew the cap slowly. The bottle must have got shaken because the lemonade
spurted out like a fountain and went everywhere - over my trousers, over the
roof-lining, onto the seat. Luckily I was a bit early so I had chance to
stop at a Little Chef and, wearing an old pair of trousers that I'd brought
to change into after the interview, dry my trousers as best as I could under
the hot air drier in the bog. I had to endure the whole interview with the
front of my trousers stiff and sticky from the lemonade. The suit was easily
cleaned, but the car seat was drenched in lemonade, apart from a "shadow"
when my legs had been and it took a lot of work with carpet shampoo to get
it clean again.

Since then I always open a new bottle very slowly, and prefereably I get out
of the car to do it.

Someone I know is a crane operator, and had a slight "oooops" wet fart
moment, and had to use the facilities of the local maccas to clean
self and undies.

No. It was an absurd interview. The interviewer spent ages telling me about
the job, the organisation etc. I knew within about thirty seconds that the
job wasn't for me: I'd been misinformed by the agency (or maybe the company
had misinformed the agency about the job spec), but politeness dictated that
I let the interview take its natural course. After half an hour of a sales
pitch about a technology that I had no experience of in a field that I had
no interest, I prompted him "Is there anything you want to know about me",
mainly to try to draw the interview to a close - I was getting bored. This
totally wrong-footed the guy. After asking me a few half-hearted questions,
he said "Let me introduce you to the people you'll be working with" and
introduced me as "This is [my name] who'll be joining us. He'll be working
for you, Fred." I thought "Oh no I won't - you haven't offered me the job
and I've no intention of accepting even if you do." It was all very weird.

The funniest thing was when the agency phoned me for a de-brief. The
interviewer had reported to them that I was the best candidate and that I
seemed really keen. Via the agency, I was offered the job. I explained why I
didn't want it - and how the interview had proceeded, which prompted some
very uncomplimentary words from the agency guy about the interviewer.

So a total waste of a day out - and a lot of hassle cleaning my suit and my
car seat!

What, you wouldn't have bothered to clean them, had you not had the job
interview looming?

Seriously though folks, some 40 odd years ago I was heading, on foot,
towards Devon to visit my family. I had a bloody great pack on my back
and, as it was a hot day, I'd purchased a bottle of lemonade which I'd
put under the flap of the back pack.

It was beautiful, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, and a car
pulled up beside me with a young couple on board, very smartly dressed,
who were on their way to a business meeting, their trade - lampshades -
covering the entire rear seat of the car.

"Where are you going?" they asked so, when I told them, they said they
could get me quite a few miles down the road, if I wished. Superb.

We travelled on in relative comfort, although it was a bit squashed with
three of us in the front of the car, me with my pack on my knees. He
wore a suit, although the jacket was in the rear of the car and she was
wearing a light grey woollen dress - delightful.

All of a sudden there was a great "whoosh" and the car swerved.

What with the increasing heat, and the fact that the lemonade bottle had
been bouncing around on my back in the sun, the pressure had built up
within the bottle, blowing the cap off - which was facing inwards - and
all over the interior of the car towards the driver. Once the pressure
eased off a little what was left of the lemonade trickled into her lap...

We stopped at the nearest available caf, she with a great big dark
stain mainly in the region of her lap, he with his nice white shirt damp
and sticky and stuck to his body, whilst the interior of the car was
dripping.

His comment was "Don't worry, it happened to me once in Africa with a
bottle of beer, it's not your fault."

I was mortified. I was only carrying a few quid which I tried to get
them to accept towards cleaning, but they flatly refused to take anything.

Such generosity, I was so upset by this but they were so nice about it.
Nonetheless, I decided was better that I walked from then on - who'd
want to get in a car sticky with lemonade?

A mate was passenger in my old FE which had a large rust-hole adjacent to
his side kick-panel. The mats were out giving him an unobstructed view of
the road thru said hole.Trouble was it was raining, and on one LH-turn the
front wheel spewed a rooster-tail of water up into the cabin via hole into
his lap.
