Now come on; the way to changing a law is not through violence. All
that would do is "prove" to conservatives that young people are
immature by nature.

Drinking-age reform proponents need not resort to violence because we
have the facts on our side. The drinking age is hypocritical,
unenforcable, counterproductive and segregatory. What we need to do is
to organize young people at high schools and colleges around the
region to push for policy alternatives that would favor
responsibility. We also have to spread the word about the true effects
of the law. All most people hear is government/MADD propaganda.
