Well, as the poet says, April is the cruellest month. Whatever.
Here's the stuff we've ordered for the Fall at the Hoff Theater, all very
lovely, blockbuster oriented, so please come. Big events include the annual
All-Nighter, this year on Friday, Sept. 23 and going all night long. Oh, and
for Homecoming Week we commemorate the centennial anniversary of the gunfight
at the O.K. Corral, or as well say "Shootout at the Hoff", the last week of
October...with free stuff on Thursday. And special free showings of "Longtime
Companion" for AIDS Awareness Week in November. And notice the general changes,
fewer shows on the weekend but additional showings of the midnight movie on
Thursday night. And John Waters Week in October, the week he comes to the Union to speak courtesty of SUPC...no, really, i mean it. So sit back, hold it down, take a chill pill, and here goes.
