does anyone here know of a good place for record pressings? Is there that
dream place where its cheap, reliable, and understands that good ol' DIY
ethic around here?

A faily good site to check out is IndieCentre at

One of the most popular places for vinyl pressings is United. There are
good and bad stories about them, but overall they are fairly cheap with
good quality.
