	Hi there!  WMUC is back on the air after our renovations.  We now
 have big beautiful new carpeting adorning our floors, so we will all be 
 walking around barefoot for a few months, indulging in the sheer luxury.

	Here is an introduction to acquaint (or reacquaint) you with us,

						   Summer 1994 Program Guide

	                   "If you can't tune us in, you live too far away."



 WMUC AM and FM, in College Park, Maryland, provide tons of music, plus
 sports, public affairs, and other fun, informative, and otherwise useful 
 and entertaining stuff to the College Park area.

 WMUC-FM 88.1 is the D.C. metropolitan area's only unformatted college radio 
 station that broadcasts over the airwaves.  You can pick us up anywhere in or 
 around College Park, including some parts of Washington, D.C., and find an 
 endless slew of music; from our traditional left-of-center beyond-alternative 
 "indie" rock/pop, all the way to metal, industrial, techno, rap, reggae, 
 blues and jazz, comedy, poetry, and armpit noises.  It's all in there 
 somewhere.

 Bands to appear on our charts include Primus, Tool, Shudder to Think,
 King Missile, Girls Against Boys, Pavement, Ropers, Small Factory, Superchunk,
 Beastie Boys...  the list changes often.  

 This summer, WMUC FM is broadcasting 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.  What 
 follows is a preliminary text version of our summer program guide, with days 
 and times, show names and DJ names.  Future versions may include program 
 descriptions and/or sample playlists.  WMUC AM will be back on in the fall
 semester, bright and shiny, perhaps with a brand new, no-longer-carrier-
 current antenna!

 This will change later in the summer.  We'll keep you updated.

 As this database increases, you will be able to find all sorts of information
