a cappella groups.

There's Something About A Cappella...

...Find out what, with Drastic Measures and the Chromatics.  Our two DC
area vocal bands pair for the first time in this a cappella concert, at
the Western Presbyterian Church, 2401 Virginia Ave.  NW, Washington, DC,

Saturday, April 24, 8:00 PM.

   The Chromatics are a seven-member mixed group who sing offbeat
original tunes and high energy pop-rock covers.  Their musical astronomy
education project, AstroCappella, was recently featured in the
Contemporary A Cappella Newsletter, and on the PBS broadcast "Live from
the Sun".  Drastic Measures is an eight-woman vocal band who sing in a
wide range of styles, and recently entertained Al and Tipper Gore at
their residence's Christmas party.  The show starts at 8:00 PM.  Our
very special guest, a cappella arranging wiz Anne Raugh (CASA songbooks,
and more) will serve as MC for the night. Your ticket enters you into
our A Cappella Fashion Raffle too!

   Tickets are $5 students, $7 advance, and $10 at the door.  Tickets
may be purchased by mail to The Chromatics, attn.:4/24 concert, PO Box
