Our lab has recently moved from San Diego and we need to set ourselves up
for DNA sequence analysis.Specifically, we wish to access data from
GenBank for analysis of sequence homology, and also for identification of
DNA binding sites. We are looking for a user friendly way of doing this.
We have looked at the GCG manual and this software appears to be rather
UNfriendly. We are prepared to buy software and a CD-ROM package if
necessary, or would be interested in being networked to such a system if
possible. If you have information about accessing this sort of data,
please e-mail me. Thanks in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
