Hi, My mac has recently started to download files at a much lower rate than it should. I am using 14.4k modem but can only get rates of 600bps on binary files and 12-1300bps on text files. Uploads seem to go at the 'normal' rates of 1600 and 2800 respectively. I am using a mac LCII with a Dynalink 1414VQE modem and MacPPP 2.2.0. I recently installed the ARA client but I am not sure if this problem happened before or after I installed it. Any ideas on what may be causing this? Thanks in advance.
