  SAGE-AU Wollongong Meeting - January
  ====================================

  SAGE-AU was formed to advance the profession of System 
  Administration by raising awareness of the need for System 
  Administrators, and educating System Administrators in 
  technical as well as professional issues. We aim to promote 
  interaction between professional System Administrators 
  within Australia as well as internationally.

  Date:         29/1/97 (Last Wednesday of the month)

  Time:         7:00 - 9:00 pm

   Who:         SAGE-AU Members, System Administrators
                (Visitors are welcome. After attending two
                meetings, visitors should become members)

   Topic:       Apple Server Strategies and Administration
                John O'Neill, National Systems Engineering Manager,
                Apple Computer Australia
                John will be demoing:
                     * Apple's new rack-mountable AIX- based server 
                       (which may also run NT) code named Deep Dish
                     * AppleShareIP - a new version of the AppleShare
                       family which supports Apple Filesharing over TCP,
                       thus eliminating the need to route AppleTalk
                     * AppleScript for automating sysadmin tasks on these
                       servers
                     * Claris/Apple Network Administrator Toolkit - for
                       managing Mac only workgroups

   Purpose:      To get Wollongong/South Coast SysAdmins/

                 of System Support.
