                     PIPE ORGAN at 127 Db's

The Curtis Organ At Penn was built in 1926 for the Sesquicentennial
Exposition, has 10,793 pipes and was fitted in 1988-89 with a full
MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) Interface. The organ
can produce 127 Db's at 90 feet from the pipe lofts. The lowest
actual pitch it produces is 16HZ from a wooden pipe 37 feet long
and 2.5 feet square. The highest pitch is produced from a pipe
about 1/4 inch long. The whole organ weights about 200,000
pounds..

If you want to tour & hear the organ in person give us a call at

For some of you folks who can't make a personal visit we've some
