I have an idea for a way to help people who are sruggling financially, by offering appliances, clothing, textbooks/books, furniture, toys, anything useful, by asking others to give up unwanted goods. It can be anything from a pair of socks, to an old XT PC that's gathering dust. This would involve anything you are willing to give away that you might not use anymore. No money is involved whatsover, and the people who have things to offer would personally contact those who need things or vice versa. I would like to know if there are enough people willing to support this idea, and if there are, some suggestions would be immensely appreciated on how to go about this. I am willing to do the work, if there are people willing to give. I think it can work if given a go :-) This charity would have nothing to do with me, apart from organsiation. Communication through people who have things with people who haven't is the only way to do it. I would like to reach people without computer communication also. Any response or idea is appreciated. Lucy.
