UQNGA
University of Queensland Network Gaming Association

Meeting Announcement
---------------------+

Meeting Date: Saturday, 20/02/1999

Meeting Time: From 12pm Saturday till early Sunday morning.

Venue: Zelman Cowen Building, Room 207 - Univeristy of Queensland

Description:

UQNGA is an association of those interested in playing games in a
multiplayer/network environment. We meet monthly for a LAN event at the
University of Queensland. Attendance is casual, so feel free to stay the
full time, or simply pop in to see what goes on at UQNGA.

What you require:

You will need: pre purchased copies of the games you wish to play; your
computer; a 10mbit or 100mbit network card; a sufficient length of UTP
cable (generally >= 2 metres). It is also recommended that you bring a
power board and an extension lead.

What will be played:

UQNGA hosts no scheduled games, however it is _very_ likely that:
StarCraft, Quake (I/II), and Half-Life will be played. (Blood is also a
choice of some gamers). If you come to UQNGA armed with these games, you
can be assured a network game.

Notes:

Apologies for the late posting of this announcement.
