Egyptian Hieroglyph Students?

Are there any students of Egyptian hieroglyphs out there? Any from
Prof Kanawati's courses of a couple of years ago?

As you probably know there is an exhibition of Egyptian antiquities
from Leiden coming to Brisbane next year (February). It has been to Sydney
and is now in Geelong. This will provide a wonderful opportunity to do
some hands-on "readings from the monuments".

I have been doing some preliminary work on this from the exhibition catalogue
but it would be very useful to pool resources with other interested parties -
perhaps arrange an informal reading group or at least exchange information.

Anyone interested can contact me at: gwat@it.uq.edu.au
