Neil LaBute's "Nurse Betty," the Cannes awardee for Best Screenplay, was
just awarded the top prize at Italy's Courmayeur
Noir Film Festival. The International Jury, composed of Roberto Citran,
Abbas Kiarostami, Veronica Pivetti, John Ridley, and
Adrian Wootton, recognized the film for its "moments of light-hearted
comedy, gripping terror and brilliant characterizations, all
guided by sure-footed and stylish direction." For more details, visit
