I ordered a computer from Steven W. Johnson of Oregon (sysop@ardvark.com and http://www.ardvark.com/systems.htm). I pre-paid a portion of the cost as he was using these monies to buy the parts. Everything seemed to check out but delivery is now three weeks overdue. He won't return my e-mails and I can't get get him on the telephone evn though his wife has taken messages from me. If you've dealt with him and have good or bad reports (he may just be out of town or run of with my money - I DON'T KNOW), please reply to me. I'm really just trying to ease my mind. I may have been foolish in trusting someone I haven't dealt with in the past but the last thing I want to have to do is involve the police in this matter. If I have to involve the police, additional testament would help my case. Shipping from him should be four-five days via UPS. Outside is two weeks... Call him or his wife and be firm, with a date for delivery. Followup with a certified, registered letter. Any lapses on his part... call the local law enforcement. regards mrdata

Adrian, Nice SIG... I hope you do more diligence and take more precaution at your work than you do before buying over the internet. Cheap shot..... Couldn't help it... I apologize, regards, karl Adrian Merrington wrote: > I ordered a computer from Steven W. Johnson of Oregon (sysop@ardvark.com > and http://www.ardvark.com/systems.htm).
