THE COMPANY:  Our client provides language and cultural conversion of  U.S.
manufactured software products - enabling these programs to be used in a
foreign region.  The company hires qualified applicants from anywhere in

REQUIRED:  English language, plus the foreign language specified, and
software experience required that is listed in the paragraph below.
Equally important are any of the following key words:  DBCS (double-byte
character set) or double-byte enabling, IME (input method editor),
internationalization, localization, bi-directional enabling, GDI or font
expertise, Natural Language Processing, or Linguistics.

DUTIES/SKILLS:  NT/OS/2  SOFTWARE BUILD ENGINEER - FAR EAST
Primary responsibilities include building international versions of NT or
OS/2 and related products and tools.  Responsible for design, development
and maintenance of NT International build scripts, assessing future build
requirements, providing feedback on equipment and development work needed.
Also responsible for installing/configuring NT, executing BVT tests,
debugging build or system errors, reporting/tracking problems with
development/test team and logging bugs in database.  Qualifications include
prior experience in script/Perl, coding, and a basic understanding of
networking concepts.  Experienced localizing a product and/or exposure to
Far East culture desirable but not required.

MIN/MAX EXPERIENCE:  At least 3 years in a software development environment
-  and no more than 10 years in information technology.
