I think your missing the whole point as to what the Olimpics is all about. The Olimpics is
not just a sporting event. Its a chance for Australia to host
arguably the only openly invited function to the rest of the world.

Its Australias chance to play ambassidor to the rest of the world. Take off the
gloves, forget our differences and for 2 weeks come into our home and compete
with each other in a civilised and harmonious manner.

It is Australias big chance to show the rest of the world how well we run our
country. Would you invite some guests around for a dinner party and not pull out
your best crystal and silverware?

Spare no expense in my opinion.

Try me. I bet i could find a dozen holes in any sentance longer than three words.

If all people created have the same rights, then any outcome will have been resolved
by popular demand. Which leaves the opposing minority voice comprised of members
irrispective of talent, motivation or otherwise.

Which brings us back to all people being equal. Perhaos its a case of some people are
better
at being equal than others.

Thats my opinion. Any comments?
