ULCER HISTORY??? STOMACH PAIN??? If you have a history of a duodenal ulcer or persistent upper abdominal pain, bacteria called Helicobacter pylori may be present in your stomach. You may be eligible for one of two clinical research studies which are targeted towards eliminating Helicobacter plyori from your stomach. Getting rid of these bacteria may help prevent your ulcer from coming back or may eliminate your stomach pain. These studies involve drugs previously approved for other medical conditions. Qualified patients may receive study-related diagnostic tests, physical exams, and study medication at no charge. It takes 10 days of antibiotic, and that gets rid of the bug. I dunno what these dudes pushing, but if you think you got one, the only sure way to tell is have endoscopy done (ouch!). -sam- -- World Traveler | International Lover | Casual Hero Wars Fought | Opressor of Champions | Revolutions Started Aligators Castrated | Virgins Converted | Governments Run
