Company:
A Venture backed startup in San Francisco launched in mid-1997 that
offers low-cost mortgages and related products and content over the
internet.  The company provides consumers with a unique combination of
information, analytical tools, and low-cost financing options that allow
them to control and drive the home purchase, refinancing and sale
process.


Description:
Design and model relational databases for financial, transaction log and
real estate data. Position involves interpreting user specifications and
translating them to optimal database design.  Create database tables and
stored procedures based on analysis.  Work with developers and web page
creators to schedule new product development and releases.  Work with
database administrators to make sure data is secure, backed-up and
optimized for performance.


Requirements:
7 - 10 years of experience working closely with relational databases.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server is highly desirable.  Knowledge of
other relational databases such as Oracle or Sybase is relevant.
Experience optimizing databases using modeling techniques and stored
procedures.  Programming knowledge in C or C++ preferred but not
required.  NT Platform experience is very important.


Salary:
Excellent salary of 90k+ depending on experience plus stock options,
performance bonus, full health and dental benefits and immediate 401K
offered.
