Save $2,800 (17 percent) on the purchase of a new Sun SPARCstation-2!
The list price of a SPARCstation-2 with 19" color monitor, 32 MByte RAM,
424 MByte SCSI internal disk, and 1.44 MByte floppy disk is $16,295.
But Sun has a special promotion where, if you trade in an Apollo workstation,
the price is only $10,495, a savings of $5,800. And you can trade up to a
SPARCstation-10 for the difference between the list price on the SS10 and
the SS2, so you continue to save.
I have two Apollo DN4000 monochrome workstations that I will sell for
$3,000 each. That means you still save $2,800 (17.2 percent) on a new
SPARCstation-2 purchased directly from Sun.
You don't even have to get the Apollo workstation -- I'll ship it back
to Sun for you, if you'll pay the shipping.
