(They're coming out of the walls, man!!) An alternative is to *BOUNCE* their s*!t back to them and modify the subject to read something like "Not at this address" or "Sorry, I already have religion". But don't just bounce it once, do it many times until you get a replying message like "STOP!!" or until our illustrious postmaster cans yours email account. Either which way, your problems are solved. B> I hope this helps. Christian. I just love the "disclaimer" I got on a junk email this morning: ************************************************************** ANY EMAIL ADDRESS PUBLISHED ON THE INTERNET THAT INVITES COMMERCIAL SOLICITATIONS IS DEEMED AS A COMMERCIAL ADDRESS, AND AS SUCH IS ELIGABLE FOR ETHICAL AND LEGAL EMAIL SOLICITATIONS FROM DIRECT ELECTRONIC MAIL MARKETERS. IF FOR ANY REASON YOU OBJECT TO RECEIVING THIS MESSAGE PLEASE POLITELY REQUEST REMOVAL FROM MY LIST BY CLICKING ON THE REPLY BUTTON AND ENTERING "REMOVE" IN THE SUBJECT LINE. IF YOU DO NOT DO SO, I MUST ASSUME YOU WISH TO RECEIVE FURTHER MAILINGS. Needless to say I can't recall ever inviting a commercial solicitation on the 'net. And of course I replied and "politely" requested removal via the subject line. And of course it bounced... Martin Stoermer

The following was sent to me a couple of weeks ago, responding as it
suggests seems to have reduced the quantity of unsolicited mail I receive.
(May just be coincidence of course). Scuse the shouting, twas how it
arrived:
***begin included text***
IF YOU WISH TO BE PLACED IN A WORLDWIDE DATABASE OF PEOPLE WHO WISH NOT TO
RECEIVE UNSOLICITED EMAIL, WHICH OVER 2800 MAILING COMPANIES USE TO "WASH" THEIR
NAMES- JUST SEND EMAIL TO REMOVE@FREEMARK.COM.
***end included text***
As to bouncing the mail, you could always ask your postmaster to include
the originating site in the mail server's ban list...of course if you get
*real* mail from aol you might not want to take that course...
Have Fun

Did I miss something? Did you give the wrong address? What revelance does this site have to countering spammers? I'm curious. -- -- WARNING NO JUNK MAIL Unsolicited commercial mail will be reciprocated with heaps of unsolicited subscriptions. As arrogant companies consistently ignore this request, no polite request or second warning will be provided from now on. Apologies to everyone else for having to read this.
