One of UUNET's uucp servers experienced hardware problems Tuesday
night, resulting in crashes of a short duration at 19:50 and 20:59 EDT,
and a fatal crash at 21:48 EDT.  We have temporarily rerouted uucp
traffic for that server to another machine.

Only connections via UUNET's remote POPs were affected.  As of 00:02
EDT Wednesday all connections via the remote POP's were working again,
and as of 01:46 EDT we had balanced the load and throughput was back to
normal.
