The Portland hub is now available for UUCP connections.

The modem number is 503 646 5040.

We have noticed that there is a reduced throughput with uucp
connections through this hub. This will improve as we upgrade
the backbone links. Plans for the upgrades are in progress. If
you are in the Portland area and currently calling long distance
or using the 800 number the reduced throughput will most likely
be offset by the lower cost of the call ($5.60/hour).
