looking toward winter...and the continued use of my birdbath... i want to find a non-electric way to thaw my birdbath this winter. i've heard of solar warmers, but don't know where to get one. also, i'm wondering about these thawing trays advertised on tv. they're apparently made of some material that thaws food in minutes. (don't know if they actually work, seems strange to me that they could.) i called Plow and Hearth, but they only have electric thawers. looked thru Wildbird Magazine, but didn't see anything. any suggestions? respond here, or e-mail bl8w@virginia.edu, or call 4-3159 or 296-9240. thnx. -- brenda lambert
