I thought "green steaks" was an euphemism for some horrid soy product.
Like tofu dogs.

Maybe R.E.M eats "green steaks" from some beef co-op in El Salvador where
the animals die of old age, and then they are butchered...


Maybe a local "green" store in Charlottesville would know where the green
steaks are to be procured? Maybe you should try Buckingham.
