Is anyone familliar with the Outer Bounds Schools?  Specifically the 
Outer bounds School in North Carolina.  I'd like more information before 
I sink money into this program.

Don't you mean Outward Bound?  I've run into them on the AT a couple of times, 
and from  what I can tell, you'll get a nice dose of hiking, rock climbing, 
whitewater canoeing, and maybe a night or two in isolation.

I went on an Outward Bound trip in 1988 and had a blast. The people, 
activities, and surroundings were all great. Good luck.
