                            PROGRAMMER & ANALYST

JOB DUTIES: Analyze data obtained in clinical studies of new drugs for
treatment of neurological disease;  Aid in design/execution of clinical trial
data analysis;  Retrieve data from data base and write specialized statistical
programs on mainframe for neurological studies.

M.S., or B.S.E.E. + graduate course work, in Biostatistics.  Must have
experience and demonstrated proficiency programming in SAS, BMDP, and Splus.
Experience or studies must have included SAS programming in UNIX, VAX/VMS, and
VM/MVS on mainframes and PC SAS, and proficient use of INGRES or SIR.  Must
have graduate level study or equivalent knowledge of principles of developing
protocols and statistical analysis plans, data collection and data management
systems.  Must have experience with designing, analyzing and reporting of
neurological clinical trials.  Must know Sequential Analysis, Repeated Measures
Analysis, Analysis with Incomplete Data, and Advanced Graphics Methods of Data
Exploration.

                     SALARY RANGE: 27,538 - 42,047.
