Chv.general is not even close to having enough traffic to spawn new
groups.  Let's put in this way:  which would be more helpful in
finding lost pets, a new group with maybe one posting per month, so
people won't bother to check it, or an existing group where lost pet
postings stick out like a sore kitty?

Besides, creating chv.pets.missing without a chv.pets group or other
chv.pets.* groups, is, I believe, a violation of whatever Usenet
standards there are.

The original CFD was a joke anyway, right?
