If anyone is interested in having a powerful machine at home,
and they found out that they don't need the mobility of a
powerbook, let mw know and we can try to work out a trade.
FYI, the 8100 is only about 1 month old, and can be configured
in many ways:
* 8/500
* 16/500
* 24/500
* 32/500
* with or without CD ROM, AV option, 4 megs of video ram,
internal syquest 270.
I basically want to downgrade, so if you have an 040 mac that
you are just dying to turn in for a powermac 8100, let me know.
