sometimes i wish i had more time to devote to these newsgroups!
here i am being flamed and i haven't even had a chance to
respond.

i, brenda lambert, am not giving a cat away! i'm old and have
50 years of experience caring for pets. i no longer make the
mistake of thinking i have time for a pet, and discovering that
i don't. the FREE CAT message went out over my name because a
student had trouble posting and asked for my help. i guess i
should have made sure she included her name as well as her
e-mail address and phone number. i personally think she is
taking a very responsible approach to trying to find a better
home for this cat...she is determined to keep it from being put
down or abandoned.
