                          "Lizzie Borden took an axe
                           Gave her mother forty whacks,
                           When the job was nicely done,
                           She gave her father forty-one."

   On August 4, 1892, Andrew Borden and his second wife, Abigail Borden,
were brutally slain by an axe in their Fall River home.  Lizzie Borden,
youngest daughter of Andrew Borden, was charged with their murder.  A jury
acquitted one year later, in the summer of 1893.

   Even now, one hundred years later, the controversy remains.  A convention
in Fall River is being held to discuss rival theories on the motives, method,
and identity of the murderer.  The bodies of Andrew and Abigail Borden are
being exhumed to see if modern science can shed any light on this century-
old unsolved mystery.

   And on the centennial of the murders, Starlight Theatre will bring the
story of Lizzie Borden to Kitchener-Waterloo!

   Join us in the Victoria Park Pavillion for _Blood Relations_, a story
by Canadian playwright Sharon Pollock, on Wednesday, August 5 through to
