I'm a pilot, and I will miss it!  I navigate by water towers - you can
see them from miles away, and each water tower has distinctive features.
The Lester Street tower was particularly easy to recognize, because it was
the only rusty water tower in this part of Ontario.  And just in case I
wasn't sure, the city kindly painted "Waterloo" on the side of it.  Once I
had the water tower, the universities were easy to find!
