What an utter waste of net bandwidth you are....   Nikita is a twit.  So are
you by the looks of it.  I think his head is big enough without you trying

Gavin, if you don't think this is a worthwhile group, then WHY are you
posting to it?  Doesn't that *very* action justify its existance so far
as you concerned?  I think you're being ridiculously hipocritical.  If
you are being sarcastic, the tradition is to add smileys, FYI. 

Or are you just so ignorant that you didn't bother to check?  No, couldn't
be.  You're not that stupid, are you?  I mean I've read your threads about
tin and sysadmining in uw.csc - from what I can tell you're a veritable
news god.

Try "http://www.csclub.uwaterloo.ca/".  It's been there for about a year
now, and csclub *will* break when I install the new web server.

Will do...  You should just have calum redirect until people have
their links changed.  You know...  The ones that say "This server has
moved to:    Please update the page you are linking from" or something
like that.

In fact I am STILL not convinced that you two are not one and the same.
I mean has anyone ever seen the two Gavins together in one room? You
are probably just different personalities of the one Gavin.  I've
always thought that Gavin was a cool person and multiple personality syndrome
would make him just that much more interesting.

Another possible theory is that the two, if there are really two of
them, which I am *NOT* convinced of (see above), they could be simply
different manifestations of the One Universal Gavin. Two different
bodily instantiations of The One. This would explain how they are alike
(both are Gavins) and yet different. They are of the same class but
have different instance variables. Their obvious inter-linkedness can
be explained by class static variables.

Yes, but here's the big thing - you say alt.fan.nikita-borisov is an
irrelevant group.  Then you post to it *TWICE*!  Doesn't that mean that
it's a completely reasonable newsgroup?  I bet that if you reply to this,
you'll post to alt.fan.nikita-borisov *again*!

Good idea.  ;-)  I don't think you'll find many of my posts to uw.csc in
the next few weeks relevant at all.  You know, stuff about how to move
your webpages so they work with the new server, other useless things
like that.

We will be running a single-page server that always replies with an 
explanation that www.csclub.uwaterloo.ca is the new webserver, but does
not contain a link to the page they were intending to get.
