As you may already be aware of, Dean Gardner will be leaving UW in a matter
of months. There has been a committee deliberating on the selection of a
new Dean of Graduate Studies to succees Dean Gardner. Due to the resignation
of one of the Grad reps on this committee, there is a vacancy that needs
to be filled urgently. The next meeting of the committee is scheduled at
8.30am on Apr 18, 1991. If any of you are interested in serving on this
committee, let me know as soon as possible. Reply to this article or call
me at x3592/x4822.

Thanks,
